About Claudia B. Kropf

Claudia B. Kropf is the president/owner of Monday’s Row, LLC.  Monday’s Row is a human resources consulting firm. The firm focuses on the education of students and employers in the science of human resources. The firm also provides consulting services to identify the root cause of an outline remedies for employee-associated issues that negatively affect the workplace and therefore, the bottom line of the business.

Kropf began Monday’s Row in 2017 after working in accounting and human resources across multiple industries that include state government, banking, brokerage, manufacturing, hospitality, high tech, professional services, and non-profit. She has held various roles and currently serves as Director of Human Resources for Florence County South Carolina. She began the first Equal Employment Opportunity office in BearingPoint and created a wellness reimbursement program at NADA, National Automobile Dealers Association, that reimbursed employees for activities that “make you move.” This program encouraged participation by appealing to the diversity of employees and their interests.

Born in Washington, DC, Kropf grew up in South Carolina and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from LaRoche University in Pittsburgh, PA. She holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute and her SHRM-SCP, senior certified professional designation from the Society of Human Resource Management.

Kropf values respect in all relationships. Respect opens the door to effective communication that in turn opens the door to any worthwhile endeavor. In her spare time, she enjoys voice and photography.

HR Simply Defined

Why “simply define” HR? Well, partly because the field currently has almost as many definitions as it does practitioners, and HR deserves a core definition that establishes a baseline performance expectation.
